Cookie Policy

Everything this site stores on your device, what it is for, and how to turn the optional parts off.

Last updated 25 July 2026 · Version 3.0

Template for review. The cookie tables below must be reconciled against a live scan of the deployed site. Cookie names, providers and durations change whenever a script or plugin is added, and an inaccurate table is worse than none.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and pixel tags. They let a site remember your choices, keep a session working, and understand how pages are used.

First-party cookies are set by this site. Third-party cookies are set by another domain whose content is loaded on a page, for example an embedded video.

2. Consent and our approach

Strictly necessary cookies are set without consent because the site cannot function without them. Everything else, including analytics, is set only after you agree through our consent banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time and nothing is lost if you decline: the site works fully with only the necessary cookies.

We keep the list short deliberately. We do not run advertising or profiling cookies, and we do not sell or share personal data through cookies.

3. Strictly necessary cookies

Set on every visit. No consent required.

4. Analytics cookies

Set only with your consent. Used in aggregate to see which pages are read and where visitors drop off. We configure analytics to anonymise IP addresses and we do not use analytics data to identify individuals.

_ga_<ID>Google AnalyticsMaintains session and campaign state13 months

If you replace or remove the analytics provider, update this table at the same time.

5. Functional cookies

Set only with your consent. These remember non-essential preferences, such as a dismissed notice or a chosen filter on the services page, so the site behaves the way you left it.

6. Third-party embeds

Some pages include content hosted elsewhere, such as video or social posts. When an embed loads, the provider may set its own cookies and receive your IP address and page URL under its own policy, over which we have no control. We load embeds only after you have accepted the relevant category, and where a provider offers a privacy-enhanced mode we use it. Providers we may embed include video hosting, LinkedIn, X and Substack.

7. No advertising cookies

We do not place advertising, retargeting or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not participate in real-time bidding. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated before the change goes live and you will be asked to consent separately.

8. Managing your choices

  • On this site: open the cookie preferences link in the footer to change or withdraw consent at any time.
  • In your browser: Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge all let you block or delete cookies, including on a per-site basis. Blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working.
  • Analytics opt-out: Google offers a browser add-on that prevents Analytics collection across all sites.

Clearing cookies also clears your recorded preference, so the banner will appear again on your next visit.

9. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Browser Do Not Track signals are not implemented consistently and we do not rely on them. We do honour the Global Privacy Control signal where your browser sends it, treating it as a withdrawal of consent for non-essential cookies.

10. Changes

We review this policy whenever we add or remove a script, and at least annually. The version in force is the one published here with the date shown above.

11. Contact

Questions about cookies can go to privacy@stellarstart.global. How we handle personal data more generally is set out in our Privacy Policy.
